Brief Description on the project:
Harbin is an important central city in northeast China. Because of the influences of such factors as natural conditions in winter and the layout of railways , the urban traffic is crowded. According to the forecast of passenger flow, In 2015,the one way passenger flow during peak hours along the route of the project will reach 17000 persons per hour, which far exceeds the capacity of ground public transportation 8000 persons per hour . Only by the construction of a subway, such transportation requirement can be met, and the traffic pressure of main passenger transportation corridors in Harbin can be relieved. The air defense tunnel in the area lays foundation for the development of subway . The project is at the middle section of 1# line of Harbin subway network. Subway is at the urban east-west axle. The density of population along the route is high, the commercial points are dense, and this is the largest passenger transportation corridor of Harbin . The recent construction plan of Harbin Subway has been approved by the State Council.

The total estimated investment is USD $ 643 million.
Investment manner:
(1) Conditions provided by Chinese Party : existing 6.3 km of tunnel equivalent to RMB ￥ 900 million;
(2) Foreign party: investing with fund, equipment.

Joint venture, cooperation, BOT or other manners, negotiable.
Estimated economic benefit:
By national economy evaluation, the inner revenue rate is 17.8%, the net present value of national economy is RMB ￥ 2.17 billion, and the dynamic investment return period is 17.15 years.
