2019- 06- 18

A record 20 block trains running between China and Europe passed through Manzhouli Railway Station on June 6, according to information from the Harbin Bureau Group Co of China Railway.

Loaded with sheet, fertilizer, and grain and oil products, the China-Europe block trains are currently traveling to European countries from cities in Northeast China, South China, East China, and Southwest China via the Manzhouli inland port. Destinations include Moscow, Madrid, Duisburg, Warsaw, Marashević, Kunzevo, Yekaterinburg, and Volsino.

As of 2018, the China-European block trains operate on a total of 50 routes.

In the first five months of 2019, the volume of goods passing through the Manzhouli port reached 7.83 million tons, an increase of 450,000 tons, or 6 percent, over the same period last year.

In order to improve customs clearance efficiency, Manzhouli inland port has cooperated with customs, railway stations, and border checkpoints to speed up electronic bill turnover, translation, and entry. It now only takes about four hours to finish all customs clearance procedures.
